Wihkum app for iPhone and iPad

The Wihkum:School app has been designed in consultation with schools to provide a safety net for teachers and students. Schools now have a corporate and legal responsibility to ensure that they are continually improving safety standards across all aspects of education. In a time of need the teachers number one priority is to protect students from harm.

In a threatening situation the teacher can press the Wihkum:School button on their cell/mobile phone to activate the app. This will alert the administration and other trained teachers that they need help. In a matter of seconds emergency contacts can be directed to the teacher, irrespective of where they are within the school grounds. In a time of need the closest people to the teacher are the ones that will respond the quickest.

To enroll into the Wihkum:School safety net - please see your School’s Administration. They will issue you a unique code and guide you through the install and enrollment process.
